Ford Automotive seat frame assembly line

This line is designed and created for assembling Ford automotive seat frame. The whole line uses automatic transmission system, which has two layers; the upper is used for movement of tray and the lower one is for the return of empty tray. Its length is 24.5 meter, width is 5.5 meter, consists of 26 stations and one dismantling station.

The necessary mistake proofing system is installed on every station to monitor the process of assembling. If the system monitors a defective product, it will send the defectives to dismantling station automatically.

PLC uses the communication of control system by Profibus DP, PLC and users can transfer or trace data by Internet. In the part of electric controls you can find more detailed working principles.

The line consists of tightening, clamp spring pressing, torque arm assembly and seat electrical and vibration measurement. So the assembly line is stable and reliable; it is also convenient for operator to operate.

Benz automotive seat frame assembly line uses BOSCH TS2 transmission system, which has two layers; the upper is used for movement of tray and the lower one is for the return of empty tray

On both ends of the line are lifting equipments which lift trays up and down. The length of the whole line is 23 meter, width is 4meter, consists of 21stations.
